November is a great month. By now, summer has waned and we are truly in a new season. Not just a season of the year, but a season of family time.
Later this month we have the good fortune to remember our Veterans on a special day. A day to remember and to give thanks for their service.
November is a beautiful time to watch the change of foliage. The distance between the land and the sky is fiery with the colors of nature. An awesome sight to behold.
Nippy mornings, a camp or bon fire in the evenings.
Time to break out the hunting gear.
Game time.
We have Thanksgiving. A time for working out menus, deciding on whether or not to try something new for Thanksgiving dinner or to hold stead-fast to tradition. Traditions of relatives and friends ~ whether you go or they come. Maybe you and yours have a tradition of turkey hunting, bringing the big bird home fresh or dinner.
November is the warm-up for December.
